Perched on the idyllic banks of the Dubai Creek, surrounded by the iconic sites of the city, Park Hyatt Dubai has introduced a new reason for the city’s dining crowd to visit, with the launch of Asado Nights, a brand-new culinary offering with a rich cultural tradition, available weekly from Thursday to Sunday.   

Curated by Argentinian-born Chef Rodrigo Llanes, the new Asado Nights are more than just a social barbecue event – they are a celebration of South American culture, tradition, and togetherness. With Asado Nights, Chef Rodrigo presents an evening where friends and family can gather around the table to enjoy delicious meat grilled in its purest form, cantered around community and camaraderie. 

Explaining the tradition of authentic Argentinian Asado, Chef Rodrigo said: “For us, Asado is a legacy. It’s something we have been learning about since we were children. Our parents would take our hands and bring us close to the fire, while teaching us about the different cuts of meat and the different types of wood to use for each, whether it’s fish, cow, or lamb. For us, the Asado is that – the legacy, the history of our roots, who we are and all that we can give.” 

“For me, as a chef, the best way to show love to my friends and family is by being next to the fire and cooking. At the Park Hyatt Asado Nights, we are offering an opportunity for our guests to join us around the table and enjoy a meal, while getting to know the history, country, and all the people who make the Asado what it is,” added Llanes. 

On the night, diners will be able to choose from a carefully curated four-course set menu comprising a selection of starters, empanadas, desserts, and of course, the highlight of the evening – traditional Argentine grilled meats perfectly prepared over open fire, including ribs, steaks and the best cuts of beef, such as picanha and more. Guests can select their preferred meat cut tableside from Chef Rodrigo’s special meat carving trolley. 

In addition to a variety of barbecued meat, guests can also expect an array of authentic South American dishes, such as grilled Provolone cheese with tomato confit and burnt black figs, Chef Rodrigo’s signature handmade empanadas with Angus flank steak, roasted chicken, chimichurri and vegetables, as well as starters of Pears Asadas, Esparragos Asados and Heirloom Tomates Asados, all beautifully prepared over the grill. 

For a sweet finish, Chef Rodrigo will be serving up an Orange and Pineapple Asada with Mascarpone cheese, Dulce De Leche cones, and Alfajores, traditional Argentinian cookies filled with Dulce De Leche and Chocolate.  

Complementing the extensive food offering is a specially curated drinks menu of Argentinian grapes as well as range of signature hand-crafted cocktails, which guests can select from the drinks trolley complete with a selection of garnishes to choose from.
