Mumbai, India - Elephanta Village
Our destination for the day was an island, home to about 1200 people about 45 minutes by boat from the waterfront of Mumbai. One of the shortcomings of cruising is the excursion-based nature of the visit whereby we could choose one, or perhaps two, excursions to fill a single day and that was it. So we saw very little of the city, but learned much about the culture.
