Named after two characters in a romantic French novel it will come as no surprise what kind of experience you can expect at the Veranda Paul and Virginie. All the air conditioned rooms are tastefully furnished and each of them has its own private balcony or terrace with views over the sea and the tiny off shore islands. The accommodation consists of Standard, Superior, Standard Family and Superior Family – although there is nothing ‘standard' about any of the rooms.

The Veranda Paul and Virginie Mauritius has become famous for its flagship restaurant La Trinquette, where diners actually feel as if they are floating on the shimmering blue water. The restaurant is perched on stilts above the water and is prized for its excellent sea food menu. The second restaurant, and equally as good, is the Isle de France that also has views over the bay. Here you'll find local flavours and European options too. As well as the restaurants there is also the St. Géran Bar, perfect for cocktails, or night caps, snacks such as pancakes are served here during the day too.

As you'd expect from any island bay resort on Mauritius the Veranda Paul and Virginie offers the best sea sports the island has to offer such as wind surfing, kayaking and snorkelling. But if you are looking for more land based fitness activities there are beach volley ball, floodlit tennis or all guest have the use of the well equipped fitness room.

For a small extra charge the hotel can also organise deep sea fishing trips, scuba diving (license required) or gentle cruises along the coast in a catamaran. If it's total relaxation you are looking for the Seven Colours Wellness Spa at the Veranda Paul and Virginie offers hydro massage, three massage parlours and top to toe body treatments.

Exploring the island is made easy with a whole range of excursions tailored to suit your needs or if you want to go it alone reception will organise car and bike hire. Picnic boxes are available for all excursions arranged from the resort. Ask at reception for full details.
