Aqua is the only resort on Rendonda Bay, a magical amphitheater of white sand beach about an hour and a half west of Granada. Twenty-five secluded treetop villas, built from sustainable hardwoods and furnished by local artisans, are linked by foot bridges and environmentally sensitive paths to minimize the resort's impact. Chef Ben Slow serves food fresh from his nearby organic farm at the beachside restaurant, and the extensive wellness service menu includes facials and scrubs made from local organic ingredients, lymphatic drainage and after-yoga massages.
