22 WAYS TO pamper yourself at home in lockdown!

It has been hard for all of us to spend long months indoors and find new innovative ways to keep ourselves engaged. But lucky for us, with so many products in the market and being readily able to access them, it gives us plenty of ways to do so. I wanted to write this specific blog on different ways that you can explore the beauty industry like never before!
This is the perfect block for you if you find yourself stuck, bored and in a monotonous routine that needs some change. This list has a bunch of rejuvenating items that can make you feel great and energized. If this is got you curious, continue reading to find out more!
1. TRY ON AN AT-HOME FACIAL
When it comes to at home facials, there are so many different face packs available today but which one do you choose?
Some people prefer to choose a charcoal activated mask, some others would like to go ahead with the clay mask, both are equally effective and affordable. There are many different choices to choose from, and I would leave that choice up to you. Good sources to shop for face masks are at Sephora and Amazon as well as any independent websites you trust.
2. USE FOREO
Just purchased my own UFO recently, FOREO is skincare on a whole new level. FOREO UFO, comes with a hefty price tag so it is not for all of us. However there are lesser versions of FOREO devices that are affordable. If you have a chance check this out and get yourself at-home facials everyday!
3. USE AN EPILATOR FOR YOUR EYEBROWS
One of the simplest, yet best inventions ever!
This epilator has taken all the pain away from doing my eyebrows each month. This is what I use to keep my eyebrows in shape all year long. All you need is a battery for the device!
4. USE ODACITE SCUPT
If you haven’t heard about facial sculpting, check out this lovely device catered to all the needs of skincare and will have your skin looked flushed and beautiful!
5. USE A BATH BOMB BY LUSH
Bath bombs are lovely, but this one is GOLD!
Bath fizzies and bombs are an excellent way to relax and take the day off and if you have been feeling low, this is the best way to go!
6. USE THE HAIR MASQUE FROM KERASTASE
Available for many different hair types, this is a really good treatment for your hair if you are looking for something to rejuvenate your split ends and give yourself a silky and shiny look. It’s as good as just visiting the parlor.
7. BEGIN A SKINCARE ROUTINE
Skincare routines have been ever evolving, but this could probably be the best time to start with one. A skincare routine decoded is just three simple steps, cleansing, using a toner and moisturizing. Starting with a skincare routine would make your skin look fresh, prevent any breakouts and make you happy with the way you look. Rather than choosing chemical based facials, I do realize some of you may prefer going on the home-made route. Face packs that I filled with turmeric, cocoa, honey, cucumber and any others that you would like to put in the mix, is a great idea!
9. TRY FAKE LASHES
If you haven’t ever tried out fake lashes, this is probably the time for you to experiment with it. It is really interesting to see how fake lashes can transform an entire make up look and make you look so great. Use the DUO glue to get them to stick in place!
10. TRY NEW MAKEUP LOOKS

11. TRY THE ICE roller ON THE FACE
If you never knew that these existed, you are in luck!
ice rollers are really great to make you feel better, relieve migraines, tighten the pores of your skin, and relieve you of any redness. This roller is a really great way to go about it and use it all over the facial skin!
12. USE A FACIAL MASSAGER
Just like using an ice roller, this is a more natural way to massage your skin and you would be surprised how nice this feels. It is affordable and something that could make you feel great within seconds, if you are stuck in a lockdown this is it for you!
13. ADVANCED FACE PEEL
The mechanism in which face masks and face feels act are slightly different. This glycolic peel is very advanced face peel that could make your skin glow within seconds. There are variations to this glycolic peel and they are infused with pearl, try them out if you have a chance!

One thing that has been keeping me sane through this pandemic, is trying to stay active and taking care of my well-being. Aromatherapy is something that I have gotten into a very recently because of my issues with migraines. It really seems to work wonders when it comes to inhaling lavender oil for migraines. But even if you don’t have migraines you can still try aromatherapy which has scientific benefits of relieving you of stress!
17. TAKE CARE OF THOSE NAILS
Whether you choose to try out some nail art, or just groom your nails, it is a great way to spend time with yourself. You can purchase these kits online or on most e-commerce websites where you get to choose exactly what you want!
18. GIVE YOURSELF A HAIRCUT
This may be something you have tried earlier on in the pandemic, but it’s always nice to give your tresses a new look from time to time. I have had to probably cut my hair for or five times in the last two years, but not all of them are haircuts, they are trims. So even if you don’t want to go all in, try giving yourself a trim or simply trying to cut off your split ends.
19. TRY A BOOTY SCRUB
The name says it all, this body scrub by the brand ANESE has come up with many different kinds of scrubs that you can use specifically on your booty. There is no need to be conscious about this, but rather use this opportunity to improve the skin quality of your booty especially when you have summer days on the beach coming up.
20. TRY OUT NEW BLOW DRYING TECHNIQUES
Maybe because of your hectic routine, any other time it would be hard to spend quality time exploring what kind of hair-do’s suit you better. But with all this ample time being on your hands, use this time to try out any new blow drying techniques that might suit you better and that you haven’t explored yet.

This is something I have been doing personally to make sure that my skin quality improves. If you’re going to be spending much more time at home through this pandemic, it makes sense to give your skin an opportunity to breathe. It also is an opportunity, to start with a great skincare routine and spend all day wearing face packs since you’re not in a rush to go out to meet anyone!
22. TRY OUT COLORFUL EYELINERS
Blue or gold, you choose!
If you have been used to the classic black liner, it’s time to explore a little bit with using different eyeliner shades that could probably work well.
