JAPANThe Tokyo EDITION, Ginza (Q1 2023)
Where: Tokyo, Japan
Why Go? Following the successful launch of the first Japanese EDITION hotel with The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon in late 2020 – the upcoming opening of The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza will further entrench the brand’s position as one of the most exciting lifestyle pioneers in Asia. The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza will be situated just of Chuo Street, one of the largest upscale entertainment and shopping destinations in the city. The newly constructed property will include 86 guestrooms and suites, three incredible food and beverage destinations including rooftop bar, together with meeting studio and a fitness centre.
Bulgari Hotel Tokyo (Q2 2023)
Where: Tokyo, Japan
Why Go? Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, a soaring property that will occupy the 39th through 45th floors of a new ultra-skyscraper near the Tokyo Station. Comprising 98 rooms including an extraordinary Bulgari Suite, it will also be home to iconic Bulgari venues including Il Bar, Il Ristorante and Il Cioccolato. A 1500-square-metre Spa will offer visitors the ultimate well-being experience and be home to a 25-metre indoor pool. Designed, like all Bulgari Hotels, by the Italian architecture firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, it is poised to be one of the brightest new stars in the Tokyo skyline.
The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka (Q2 2023)
Where: Fukuoka, Japan
Why Go? The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka will be the centrepiece of a new 24-story mixed-use building in the city’s central business district with high-end retail, dining and entertainment in the Daimyo area. Centrally located, the hotel is within a 5-minute walk to Tenjin Station, a 15-minute drive to Hakata Station to access the high-speed rail, and a 30-minute drive from Fukuoka Airport. Occupying the 18th to 24th floors of the building, the hotel will feature 162 guest rooms and suites with an exclusive Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. The hotel will offer six distinct culinary experiences, including three restaurants, a lobby lounge and two bars that will be a draw to locals and visitors alike. An indoor swimming pool, in addition to a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa and Fitness Centre will offer guests recreational opportunities.
Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara (Q3 2023)
Where: Nara, Japan
Why Go? Nestled within the grounds of a historic temple garden, Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara, will be a vivid showcase of traditional Japanese architecture, culture and history, as well as its beautiful surrounding natural landscapes. The new hotel will be an easy 10-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara train station on the Kintetsu-Nara line, which offers direct connections to Kyoto and Osaka in 35 minutes and 45 minutes respectively. Guests staying at the hotel will have the opportunity enjoy the convenience of an all-day dining restaurant and a lobby lounge, as well as a fitness centre. The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne (Q1 2023)
Where: Melbourne, Australia
Why Go? The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne will offer legendary guest service to visitors to Australia’s arts and epicurean capital. A beacon of Melbourne’s rich culture, history and future, the hotel takes centre stage at 270m high, commanding the city’s skyline. Guests will be welcomed via an express elevator, direct to the Sky Lobby on Level 80 of the hotel which affords uninterrupted panoramic views of Melbourne city and surrounds. The hotel will comprise 257 luxury guest rooms and suites, including The Ritz-Carlton Club, a signature restaurant, intimate bar and spacious all-day dining lounge offering local and seasonal menus. The meeting and event spaces will total up to 2,781sqm, and will include The Ritz-Carlton Grand Ballroom, complete with expansive pre-function space with 7m high ceilings and impressive floor to ceiling windows. The Ritz-Carlton Spa will present a holistic wellness experience, with six treatment rooms, spa, sauna, gym, yoga area and a tranquil infinity pool and pool deck, with views across the city.
W Sydney (Q4 2023)
Where: Sydney, Australia
Why Go? W Sydney will mark the third W hotel in Australia, surfing back into the iconic harbour city with the highly anticipated opening. The stylish hotel will feature 585 stylish guestrooms and suites. Guests can spend lazy days or wild nights at the WET DECK®, with sublime views of the Darling Harbour. There will be an all-day restaurant serving local flavours and two bars, including the brand’s signature Living Room, rounding out the hotel’s buzzing cocktail and cuisine scene. W Sydney will also be home to an AWAY® Spa, FIT gym, and 1300 square meters of function space (including a grand ballroom), setting the stage for creative meetings and innovative events.

JW Marriott Goa Vagator (Q2 2023)

Why Go? JW Marriott Goa Vagator will be a relaxing sanctuary located North of Goa, surrounded by the beautiful beaches of West India. The hotel will feature 151 guest rooms designed with clean and calming lines inspired by the charm of Goa. Nourishing dining experiences will include an all-day dining restaurant and a JW bar. W Macau – Studio City (Q3 2023)
Where: Macau, China
Why Go? Macau, a vibrant city of entertainment, will be the perfect destination for the upcoming W Macau – Studio City. Set to become a new landmark in the city, the multi-complex, Studio City will include indoor & outdoor water parks, Cineplex, and a modern MICE space. W Macau – Studio City will be situated at the heart of the complex and expects to feature 557 guestrooms, including 128 suites and W Sound Suite, the brand’s signature, on-site recording studio. Guests can look forward to mix and mingle at WOOBAR, a destination bar. The hotel anticipates to also feature two destination dining venues – one with international cuisine with an Asian twist, and another featuring the finest Chinese and Portuguese dishes.
